After a wee swim the tourists came ashore, chittering and slightly red raw, but certainly happier than before. This was all circa 2008 BDR (Before DryRobe), but their kilt clad host knew just what to do…
S1E4 Warmth
…I can’t recall if it were a Glencairn, but a wee glass of Scotch Whisky was dispatched to each of the icy tourists. There, on the shores of Dores, both their skin and their souls were now beautifully aglow. A picture of exhilaration and contentment. Closing the scene, their host offered a quote that started it all…
S1E5 Spark
…“That’s got to be ultimate Scottish experience”. Sure. I thought. But could it be more? That was the nucleus of what came next. What if the whisky had come from a cask submerged to the depths of Loch Ness, wholly absorbed in its very majesty and spirit. Surely a whisky with that kind of history would be an even greater ‘ultimate’. And so, turning that vision into reality began…
S1E6 Invention
…meeting many brilliant people, research, legislation, customs and excise, licenses, lawyers, physics, chemistry, calculations, concepts, suppliers, prototypes, data analysis, failures, set-backs, redesigns, more lawyers, trademarks, patents, labelling, filming, web-designing, sampling, plenty of tasting and finally the pleasure of presenting Domhayn to the world. The curtain call for Series 1, but the prelude to Series 2…
S2E1 Future
Series 2 begins with our “Big Bang”, the start of new era for Domhayn and beyond. But from now on it'll be greater than before…for now it’s a shared adventure. So, cheers to you and the incredible history you’re helping to write.
